I'm so excited to say that for the first time since November 9th I have reached par for the day! Oh my goodness. That took.... Well, it took quite a while.
I have to say, when I first fell behind twenty days ago I honestly didn't it would take this long to catch up. I thought I'd be back on track within a few days at most, until the days I didn't have time to write began piling up on each other. Before I knew it I was 5,000 words below par by day 20. But that's life, I guess. Expect the unexpected and whatnot. Anyway, I'm back on track! And just in time for the end of NaNoWriMo. I was wary of using my college's Thanksgiving break as a time to catch up, because last year I didn't write a word during the break. But this year everything somehow fell into place, and I wrote 3,000 words one night, 2,100 the next, and 2,000 words on another. In fact, ever since I wrote 3,000 words in one day there hasn't been a day I've written less than 2,000, which is how I managed to catch up (finally). And I am so, so relieved. Now that I am back on track, I can actually relax and glide to the finish line. Which is tomorrow! Wow, this month has never felt shorter. No month has ever felt shorter. And I'm pretty sure I haven't turned my computer completely off since October (although it did close all of my tabs and word documents a few times, each of which gave me a mini-heart attack). Well, there's no more time for blogging--I have a NaNoWriMo challenge to finish!
